In Sweden the indicated fraction multiplied by 70 and rounded up to nearest 5 öre was normally paid by affixing stamps on the item.

postal rate books list two different customs fees. One lower rate if custom
house porter fees (dragarpengar) are paid and a higher rate if no such
fees are paid. This is the higher fee, when custom house porter fees were
not paid.
